Help Contents Request Detail Page

The request detail page is central to EOIN. Here you view all information about a request (including its history) as well as modify it with Action buttons.

Request Number - Previous / Next Buttons

The title displays the current request number. The Previous and Next buttons allow you to browse through the last list you looked at. If this is the borrow page, then you will cycle through the requests listed on that page. If you have displayed a specific request using the Simple Search box, then these buttons show the numerically next or previous request.

Action Buttons

The row of buttons below the title and along the bottom of the request are how you change requests (e.g. you indicate you have received a book by clicking on the 'Received' button on its detail page.) Please see the Lend or Borrow help pages for details on associated actions.

Below the action buttons are all the details specific to a request. The fields are as follows:

Max Cost: Your maximum cost.
Borrow Notes: Use this for any general borrow notes, or for extended Location info.
Request Date: The date and time a request was created.
End Date: The date and time a request was completed.
Lending String: This field lists all libraries in the lending string. The current library is [in brackets and bold].

Request History

All active requests have a Request History. This is displayed at the bottom of the request detail page. The history shows where a particular request is in the requesting process. This helps to track an item, enabling you to keep your patrons better informed.
