2004 Hector Acebes: Portraits in Africa 1948-1953 The author, who is the director of the Hector Acebes Archive, penned the biography for this publication. It features over ninety striking images in monographic form. Distributed by the University of Washington Press, the book features a discussion by Isolde Brielmaier comparing Acebes' work to that of other photographers.
