The library follows the guidelines set by the State of Oregon and administered locally by the EOU Department of Business Affairs for the acquisition and control of capital equipment.
Library equipment is systematically reviewed, maintained and repaired. Study and decisions on needs and purchases are made through the regular staff/faculty meetings and on recommendations from individual employees. Equipment needs to meet current services and growth potential are reviewed annually and expressed in the library planning budget for each fiscal year.
