Access to / Use of Library Resources: Internet Use Policy

In the spirit of the mission of the Library and Eastern Oregon University (EOU), the University's Acceptable Use Policy and the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights, all library materials and services are available to campus and local community members. Priority of use will be given to EOU students, faculty and staff. Community patrons can use our networked resources to access the Sage Library System catalog and the research databases that EOU subscribes to. The community can not use EOU computers for internet access or email purposes. These public library services are available at La Grande Public Library.

The Internet work stations are for scholarly research purpose. Any other use may result in the loss of access privileges or restricted library use. Restriction may be placed on users, if others are queued for access. The purpose for this is to ensure access to the largest number of library users.
