Pierce Library provides a flat bed scanner, which can be accessed from one computer in the ERC, and a printer, which can be accessed from any ERC computer. Please limit your printing and scanning jobs to 20 minutes when others are waiting.
The fee for printing is $.10 per page if cash is used and $.07 per page if a library copy card is used. Copy cards can be purchased in the library for $1.00 and then money can be added to the card at any time. There is no charge for using the scanner but it is recommended that patrons bring their own storage device (such as flash drive) as storage on the hard drives of the ERC computers is not available.
Title 17 of the United States Code governs the making of reproductions, including scanned or print reproductions, at Eastern Oregon University. Copyright laws must be respected. Copyrighted materials may be reproduced only if copies are intended for your own personal use. Federal regulations stipulate specific requirements addressing "fair use" in copying materials. Information on copyright laws is posted for your convenience near the photocopy machines.
